Books in the Mail: Christmas Splurge

I didn't receive many books for Christmas this year, which was probably a good thing considering how many I buy for myself. ;) So, while browsing Better World Books in my holiday free time, my book buying addiction took hold ... Thus, I got mail!

Yesterday, The Princess Curse by Merrie Haskell:

And today, I came home from a long day of work and  tutoring to find The World Above by Cameron Dokey, Vengeance Bound by Justina Ireland and Dragonswood (which I've heard tons about) by Janet Lee Carey.

Looking forward to reading all of them. Right after the three or four library books and two eARC's I'm working on. :)

  1. THE PRINCESS CURSE isn't the world's greatest fairytale retelling, but I found it to be a fun little read. Don't know if there's going to be a sequel yet - it definitely ends as if there will be one. You may get a little frustrated with the protagonist of DRAGONSWOOD, but the plot was good. I hope you enjoy them! :)

    1. I'm hoping for a little fun and enjoyment, too! :) I'm definitely interested in The Princess Curse if for no other reason than I've been on a kick looking for 12 Dancing Princesses retellings.
