Top 10 Books on My Fall TBR List

A weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish

The amount of reading I've done this month has been pathetic; but it's been a crazy month, so I'll give myself a pass. But now fall is here! The air is cooler, there's hot tea and cider to be had, and curling up under a blanket and reading all evening makes sense. So, to get excited for the reading binges ahead, here are the:

The first two are carry-overs from my summer TBR list. This season for sure! In the Shadow of Blackbirds, The Woken Gods and Ironskin have all been on my shelf for a while and sound like good fall reads. Storm Siren, Mortal Gods and Dissonance are all recent releases I'm REALLY looking forward to. And The Storybook of Legends and The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle are in there because I know I'll need some short, fun reads during the busy weeks.

That's it for this round of 10! Thanks for stopping by and check back in tomorrow for this week's Updates! In which I listen to authors talk about shooting ducks and surviving zombies. :)

  1. Hmm. Maybe the Woken Gods for me. Osiris Curse is the only title on your list I have actually read.

    1. The Woken Gods definitely sounds interesting, so I medium-high hopes for it. How did you think The Osiris Curse compared to The Lazarus Machine?

  2. I have Storm Siren to read from Netgalley. And I'll definitely have to read Storybook of Legends cause Shannon Hale is one of my favs.

    1. I've only read one Shannon Hale book, which I didn't love, but I like fairy tale retellings and the free short story prequels weren't bad. :)

    1. Yay! I'm glad. I don't think I've seen a bad review of Storm Siren thus far, so I'm pretty excited. Thank you! :)

  4. I can't remember where I heard about Dissonance, bit it sounded really interesting.

    1. I'm a sucker for parallel world stories when they're well written. :)
