Top 10: Halloween Edition

A weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish

This week is supposed to be "Top 10 Characters I'd Want to Dress Up As" or "Top 10 Books/Movies to Read/Watch to Get in the Halloween Spirit." And I thought about it really hard, but...I'm not really a big Halloween person. I don't dress up, and I have to be in a special mood to eat lots of candy. I generally spend the holiday hiding inside with a book.

However, there is one little Halloween tradition I'm happy to indulge every year:

Leslie Neilsen and Mel Brooks doing what they do best. :)

Yep. That's it for this round of...1! Thanks for stopping by and check back in tomorrow for this week's Updates! In which I learned to crochet (kind of). :)

  1. As far as I know that is the only Mel Brooks movie I have not watched. My wife and I watch Young Frankenstein every year around this time though.

    1. Might as well make it a marathon, right? ;)

  2. I'm not one to watch a bunch of Halloween movies. I never really got into it until I had a house to decorate and greet trick or treaters. I didn't have Halloween growing up in Australia, so I think it's fun to dress up.

    1. No Halloween in Australia? I don't know whether to boo the country for making us look gluttonous or applaud their lack of a candy-crazy holiday (unless they're as bad as us at Easter). But it's definitely different when you're decorating for people and parties. I'm just too lazy. ^^;
