Art It Up! - Rapunzel

Art It Up! is a weekly feature hosted by Tabitha @ Not Yet Read.

This week is #23 in the Disney Series. (Pretend you haven't read the post title for a second.)

Here are your hints:
She's homeschooled.
She loves to paint.
She's obsessed with floating lights.

That's right! From Disney's 2010 "Tangled," she's....

Up until around 6th grade, I had super long hair that always had to be in a braid or ponytail, and it took FOREVER to wash and comb. I feel your pain, Rapunzel. I feel your pain. Ironically, my hair is now super long once more (mostly because I'm too lazy/keep forgetting to cut it). ^^;

Thanks for stopping by, and check back tomorrow for this week's discussion post! In which I talk about getting and giving books for Christmas. :)

Past Fan Art Ups Art It Ups (in case you missed them):

  1. That's adorable! I also had long hair until about 5 years old. It was down to my hair, ALWAYS tangled, and wavy. I'm pretty sure I barely brushed it. (Then I got an awful cut to my shoulders and since I was young, didn't know how to style it and it was AWFUL)

    1. My rule is: either short enough that water will tame it (so long as you're willing to trim it every month or go through the awkward growing out phase), or (preferably) long enough to put in a ponytail. :)

  2. YOu had super long hair too huh!? Yeah my dad was one of those hippies before he joined the army - so when he had all daughters when we were little he refused to let our mom get our hair cut other then minimal trims saying we needed to have long hair. And you know now - I have super short hair as you know lol.

    1. I don't think long hair was quite as big a deal with a mom helping out with the washing/combing/braiding, but as soon as it's YOUR responsibility? Yeah. That may explain the super short hair from 8th grade. :)

  3. Adorbs! My hair is super thick so I hate when I let it get long. Having it short is problems enough. Sidenote: I need to buy Tangled

    1. My hair is a little on the thick side, too. On the bright side, long is the only way it has enough weight to hang semi-straight around my face. When it's short, it just kind of poofs out. Tangled is such a fun movie! Despite the insta-love. ;)
