Midwinter's Eve Giveaway Hop (INT)

Thanks to BookhoundsI Am A Reader, Not A Writer for hosting!
The holidays aren't known as the craziest time of the year for nothing. Everyone's scrambling for last-minute gifts, making travel arrangements to see family and maybe, if there's a spare second, baking cookies. I'm starting to feel the strain, too. I had a Christmas party last night, three meet-ups with friends this week, and I'm booked for two different Christmas Eve services.

In the midst of all the crazy, I want to step back, thank God for this amazing bookish community, and wish you all a Merry Christmas. I will not, however, add "and may all your Christmases be white." No snow. :)

And now for the part of the post you came for: the Christmas cheer. ;)

  3. My favorite Christmas songs are the sad ones. So "I'll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams" could be it.

Or possible 'Santa drives a Rolls Royce Limousine.'

  4. I like Christmas music. But I also like the Twisted Christmas CD's. Drives Dad up the wall when I play them, but they start playing Christmas music so EARLY most years that I get sick of it.

Hope your holiday is a good one!

We're floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below are sleeping as we fly

    I'm holding very tight
I'm riding in the midnight blue
I'm finding I can fly so high above with you

    Far across the world
The villages go by like dreams
The rivers and the hills, the forests and the streams

    Children gaze open mouthed
    Taken by surprise
Nobody down below believes their eyes

    We're surfing in the air
We're swimming in the frozen sky
We're drifting over icy mountains floating by

    Suddenly swooping low
    On an ocean deep
Rousing up a mighty monster from his sleep

    And walking in the air
We're dancing in the midnight sky
And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly

    We're walking in the air
    We're walking in the air
