Top 10 Goals for 2015
A weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish
I love lists. Give me Post-its and I am happy. Organization! The satisfaction of crossing out completed tasks! :) However, I really dislike New Year's resolutions. Mostly because, like most of us, I fail at them. I think I maybe completed 2/10 from my 2014 list. Which is a little depressing. But since it's this week's topic, I'll make a list. I'll just try to pick small, manageable goals for this year. No specifics, no "every day" or "every week." Just little things to make me smile. :)
Top 10 Goals for 2015:
- Read lots of books
- Go to BEA! Haha, this one's kind of cheating since I already booked accommodations (still need to buy the ticket), but it's doable. ;)
- Jump in the ocean
- Crochet a hat
- Paint something
- Draw
- Laugh
- Cry
- Help someone
- Pray
I think I have a good shot at getting these done without too much trouble. Except maybe #3. I like the beach, but the water is always so COLD.
That's it for this round of 10! Thanks for stopping by and check back in tomorrow for this week's Updates! In which I finished my Goodreads Challenge. :)

ReplyDeleteHaha, yes, whatever I paint will be Instagrammed and posted! I've put my feet in the ocean for the last couple of years- up to my knees if it's warm out. But I want to dive in at least once this year. :)
DeleteJealous! I wish I could afford to go to BEA this year. Have a blast!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top 10
Thank you! I figured I better make it happen and try BEA this year since I'm most likely not making it to Chicago in 2016. :)
DeleteI want to go to BEA so badly too - it would be so amazing!

I hope you get to go soon! Maybe next year when it's in Chicago? :)
DeleteHey BEA still counts since anything could happen and it's still a goal you haven't completed ;) I actually really love your list. It's simple and not to sound cheesy, inspiring. I love that you included pray and help someone. I'm not artistic, but I want to draw something (but it'll be much better for me to look at what YOU do instead and live through you;)
ReplyDeleteThat's true. It hasn't been completed yet... >.> Haha, no worries! We WILL go to BEA, right? :)
DeleteAnd thank you! I'm glad you like my list. And if you want to draw something, definitely pick up a pencil and draw! I'm not good, but I'm hoping to get a little better this year. :)
I love this list so much! I'm trying not to stress myself out with blogging this year so I'm completely feeling straight forward happy goals :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! I know what you mean. I love reading and blogging, but life happens; and I want to try to be flexible about it instead of stressing and getting bent out of shape (as I usually do ^^;). Simple, easy, happy goals for the win!
DeleteI love these goals! I can't wait to see you at BEA!! And jumping in the ocean should be very doable for you - don't you live close-ish?! Though maybe what until it's warm. I hope you get to do all of these things and more this year! Blessings in the new year!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm super excited to meet all of you at BEA! The ocean is pretty close; I just have a tendency to wuss out when it's cold. Which is all the time. ;)
DeleteI wish I could go to BEA! It's looking like a no right now... more on that in the future. Today was a big day. But shhh, don't say anything just yet...
ReplyDeleteHappy 2015! Good luck with the goals!

Oh no! D: I was hoping to see you there, but no worries. I'm sure we'll meet up another time. And big day? As in BIG? >.> Mum's the word. :)
