Updates: Merry Christmas

I know everyone's scrambling around with family gatherings and holiday events and preparations, so I'll keep this brief.

Some friends and I took a stab at making gingerbread houses (with pre-made kits). You can find photos of the other houses on this week's Art It Up post. :)

Only two books to go to finish this year's Goodreads Challenge!

Gah! I'm almost like, "Be done already so I can mark you complete!" but I'm enjoying the adventure, too. So conflicted... ;)

My impulse buy from Better World Books came in; now I just need to track down the final book in that trilogy and, you know, read them all. I got a stack of books from the library. They're at that end stage of the sale where you can get a whole bag for $1. I couldn't resist. And then my wonderful friend was doing some winter cleaning and let me raid her give-away pile. :)

That's it for this week's happenings! Thanks for stopping in, Merry Christmas, and check back Friday for this week's review. :)

    1. Thank you! I have to say, I didn't like Princess of Thorns the way I was hoping to. It wound up in the 2-star range, but I think most readers will probably enjoy it. Merry Christmas! :)

  3. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Kel! Did you enjoy Princess of Thorns? Personally, I LOVED it :D Hope you have a lovely week and Happy New Year!

    1. Thank you, Alyssa! I had a very nice Christmas, except for the whole going to work the next day part. Could have done without that. ;)

I was hoping to enjoy to enjoy Princess of Thorns, but it wound up being a 2-star read. :(

      Happy New Year!
