Updates: Back in the Country
Kel Thursday, February 26, 2015It's been both lazy and hectic since I got back from NYC Sunday, if that makes sense. On the one hand, everything seems to move at a much slower pace compared to the Big Apple. On the other...work, taxes, FAFSA, etc. So, yeah, in some ways it feels busier. ;)
I've been a little off-schedule this week, so in case you missed them:
NYC Weekend Recap (with photos of food and me freezing in the cold)
Top 10 Favorite Heroines
Um...do tax forms count? No, I didn't think so. Despite the cold, I didn't spend much time holing up in the New York hotel, so I need to catch up on my reading. Which is good?
I'm almost done with Hexed, which isn't horrible but has a couple of repetitive flaws. I also clicked too many buttons on NetGalley and Edelweiss and now have a backlog of eARC's to get through. But Siren's Fury is among them, so I'm too happy to care. Here's hoping the author crushes more romantic hopes and dreams! Mwahahaha! :D
That's it for this week's happenings! Thanks for stopping in and check back tomorrow for my review of Death Marked by Leah Cypess! In which a powerless sorceress walked into another lion's den. :)
