Art It Up! - Speak Slowly

Art It Up! is a weekly feature hosted by Tabitha @ Not Yet Read.

I watched a really thought-provoking interview this morning. It's had me thinking about the impact our words and actions can have--the impressions they leave. Cue quick pen sketch. :)

It's not especially proportional, but it'll do. ;) I was thinking about how difficult it can be to stick to "quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to be angry." Sometimes it would be so much easier if we were tied up with our mouths sewn shut. Uncomfortable, but easier to make sure we didn't say/do things we'd regret later. :P

And on that happy note, thanks for stopping by, and check back Tuesday for this week's Top 10! :)

  1. Practicing silence is also a great way to hear all sorts of information that you can later use to blackmail people. :P
