Top 10 Books Recently Added to My TBR List
We're following up last week's agonizing look at books we plan to read within a specific time period (until our plans inevitably fall apart) with a look at books we'd like to read at some undetermined point in the future. Zero pressure! :D
And rather than wrack my brain for which books are the ones I most want to read, I just pulled up Goodreads, clicked the sort-by-date button, and picked 10 of the most recently added books. Which is good, because I seem to have picked up a cold and am incapable of complex thoughts at present. :)
I think I have a decent mix in there: some YA, some adult, a graphic novel, a middle grade, a contemporary, but TONS of sci-fi/fantasy per the usual.
That's it for this round of 10! Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for this week's Updates! In which I did little reading, but survived family and a funeral. :)

Ink and Bone = Yes. And I've heard decent things about The Storyspinner
ReplyDeleteI love the concept for Ink and Bone! I've read some good reviews of The Storyspinner, too; I hope it lives up to them. :)
DeleteI've got The Storyspinner checked out from the library. I'm very excited for that one. And Ink and Bone! I've only read a couple of Rachel Caine's books, and this one sounds really good, too.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I can't wait to see your thoughts on The Storyspinner! I read a few Morganville Vampires books years ago, but nothing from Rachel Caine since. I love the sound of Ink and Bone!
DeleteJust a quick follow-up - I'm 50-some pages into The Storyspinner, and it's excellent so far. I really don't see how this could go wrong!
DeleteThat's wonderful! Though I'm tempted to knock on wood or cross my fingers or something now you've said you don't see how it could go wrong... >.>
DeleteI have heard that The Storyspinner is amazing! That is the only one that I have heard of from this list, but I hope that you enjoy all these once you read them! Hope you get over your cold soon!
ReplyDeleteEm @ The YA Book Butterfly
Haha, thanks Em! You and me both. Colds tend to kill my brain and result in much couch-potato-ing and less reading, so I really hope this one leaves fast.
DeleteI'm excited for Ink and Bone as well! I have Hidden Huntress, but I haven't read it yet. The Storyspinner was great though!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a speedy recovery!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I'm glad to hear one book on the TBR should be good! Gives me something to look forward to. :) And thank you! I very much hope this is a short-lived cold.
DeleteI really loved The Storyspinner, Kel! It's a fun fantasy with great characters. :) I can't wait for Hidden Huntress, and I hope to hear good things about Ink and Bone!
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping my library gets The Storyspinner ASAP! I still need to read Stolen Songbird, but I have mid-high hopes for both Hidden Huntress and Ink and Bone. :)
