Top 10 TBD for Summer 2015

Technically, this week's topic is "Top 10 TBR for Summer 2015," but that's really similar to last week's topic (and these seasonal reading lists always result in a massive guilt trip). So, instead, I'm going with my top 10 things to be done this summer. It's not nearly as impressive as Phineas and Ferb's summer plans, but it'll do. ;)

School Stuff:
  • Get all my paperwork/insurance/bills in order for the fall.
  • Buy a laptop and backpack.

Sunny Stuff:
  • Go to the beach.
  • Visit my family in Florida.
  • Exercise. (This might involve hiding from the sun in a gym, but we'll see.)

Bookish Stuff:
  • Go to Bookitcon.
  • Read books.
  • Write a story. (I don't know how long it'll be, but I want to write something fun before all my writing becomes school-related.)

Miscellaneous Stuff:
  • Break out the bassoon and flute. (Chromatik should have music for both.)
  • Crochet a scarf and/or hat for the fall.

What cool plans (or reading schedules) do you guys have for summer?

That's it for this round of 10! Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for this week's Updates! In which I checked out a book festival and found new toys. :)

  1. The family visiting sounds good! That's a long way away but totally worth it :) I need to come up with a summer "plan", all I have right now is job and research. BORING. Though I enjoy both. I need more spontaneity!

    1. My grandpa's turning the big 9-0, so we're getting the whole family together. It'll definitely be a long day, but yeah, totally worth it. :) If it helps, work is still the biggest part of my summer...unfortunately. ;)

  2. Goodness you're ambitious! I'm not as artistic as you and plans are quite boring, I need to study to pass a certification for work and I will probably drive places in the weekend with hubby to do the 'tourist" stuff :)

It's the first time I'v heard about Bookitcon, I'll check it out.

    1. Weekend trips sound like lots of fun! And if you're near the Delaware Valley area, you should definitely check out Bookitcon. :)

  3. I think this list is much better than a TBR list anyhow. And I'm behind the times. Have you started any of these yet?

    1. I've started the school paperwork, but it's a little more involved than I'd hoped. :P Florida is next week, and I have done a bit of reading and walking and bike riding, but no music or writing yet. Though I did crochet a little doll! Not a hat or scarf, but it's something. :)
