Series I've Been Meaning to Start
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
We all have a TBR list a mile long. I don't stick with a ton of series, but I'm always adding new ones to my list. Here are a few I added . . . uh, "recently." ;)
Ashes trilogy by Ilsa J. Bick - Honestly, this has been on the list so long I've forgotten what it's about. I read another book by this author and wasn't thrilled, but apparently I liked the idea enough to keep this title in the running.
Lock & Mori by Heather W. Petty - I have high hopes of reading this soon. I forget why I didn't before. The library didn't have it? Anyway, it's "Summer of Deception" on Riveted right now, and I think/hope this will make an appearance.
Silver Blackthorn trilogy by Kerry Wilkinson - I have a vague memory of this being something British? Yeah, that'll do.
Glass Sentence trilogy by S.E. Grove - Something about continents locked in different time periods? I picked up the second book at a bargain outlet and now need to get hold of the first.
Serafina series by Robert Beatty - I just picked this up at the library and hope to start it this week!

Fairy Tale series by Shanna Swendson - I really liked Swendson's novel Rebel Mechanics, so I'll likely grab this next time I have an Amazon gift card. It looks fantasy-ish. :)
Sevenwaters series by Juliet Marillier - This will probably wait a little longer. I think I'm 1 and 1 with Marillier's books and I have another one waiting on my shelf before I look for more.
Changeling P.I. series by Ruth Vincent
Grimm Agency series by J.C. Nelson
Sentinels of New Orleans series by Suzanne Johnson
I've been on the lookout for more consistently enjoyable, auto-buy series (like Kate Daniels, the Innkeeper Chronicles and The Others). My library doesn't have any of these. :( But they still look interesting, so maybe next time there's a sale? I'm torn; I'm trying not to spend any unnecessary money right now, but if I wait, law school resumes and reading time dies. Ah well, decisions, decisions. :)
What series have you been meaning to start for forever? Have you read any of these?

I haven't heard of any of these series! I hope you enjoy Serafina, and the other ones when you get around to them :D I've been wanting to start the Six of Crows series by Leigh Bardugo and the Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab. I have the first books of both series on my shelf, but I just haven't got to them yet!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cilla! I've read ADSOM, and it was really good. I can't tell you how many things have sat on my shelves for FOREVER. It makes you feel guilty . . . until you get a new book to distract you from the guilt. :)
