November Wrap-Up: What Just Happened?
A monthly recap of books I've read, posts I've written, things of interest
from the blogosphere, and life.
from the blogosphere, and life.
November Reads:
Dealing with Dragons was amazing! If you haven't read it yet, go do so.
There's Always a Catch was less amazing. Actually, it was a total bust for me, but I can see why others would enjoy it.

November Life:
Clearly November was not my best month for blogging. I'm hoping to do a little better (and do a lot more reading) in December once finals are over.
This month feels like it's flown by. I literally have to take out my calendar to figure out what all happened. As I said in my last post, I pulled off hosting my final panel event of the semester. Then followed that up a week later with a "we survived" celebration and e-board elections. Good news: there's a brand new e-board and I'M NOT ON IT! :D I'm still around in an advisory capacity (and let's face it: I'm totally the puppet master lurking in the shadows when I want to be), but I am no longer the responsible person for these events. Whoo!
My evil plan to actually take it easy and have a #3LOL spring progresses. ;)
Then it was off for Thanksgiving. Visiting family required more time and attention than anticipated, so I kind of slacked on my finals prep, but I think we'll be okay. I did not go out on Black Friday, but I did order some #TBTBSanta gifts online on Thursday, and I hit a few book spots on Small Business Saturday.

I also got an amazing November package from my #OTSPsecretsister!

AND I was super lucky and won an ARC of Warcross from the amazing Jen Ryland.
I'm really excited because I booked a flight and will be visiting Edinburgh and other bits of Scotland in January!! I haven't been outside the US since I studied abroad in undergrad...a long time ago. >.> I've also been dying to see Scotland for a while now. It'll probably be cold, but I'm looking forward to a great trip!
Now I must go ignore you all and study like a madwoman for two exams, and fix up a paper. :)
And that was my month! How was yours?
