The 100 Reactions, Eps 6-7: Idiocracy, The Sequel

And we're back with more reactions to The 100! Shannon at It Starts at Midnight is a HUGE fan of the The 100. (See her episode recaps and other The 100 posts here.) She talked me into giving it a try once Bar season was over, and she will likely regret asking to hear my thoughts before this is over. ^^;

I was going to wait to post until I had another 5 episodes, but clearly my thoughts (and accompanying gifs) run rampant when not constrained by Twitter's character limit. I will try to be more concise next time.

In case it wasn't obvious, there could be spoilers below for The 100, Season 1, Episodes 6-7. Again, last chance.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

Now, on to the fun!

Reactions, Episodes 6-7: Idiocracy, The Sequel

S1/E6: Eh, I was hoping for a bit more information on the Grounders. Which we could have gotten if we didn't immediately try to kill people. Bellamy, can you not be the most useless kid on the planet? Didn't your guard training teach you to know your enemy? Knowledge is power? Like, seriously Bellamy. You're basically this guy:

The 100 Reactions, Eps 1-5: The Skeptic Skewers

The basic premise per IMDB:
Set ninety-seven years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends one hundred juvenile delinquents back to Earth, in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.
I started writing my reactions to each episode on Twitter (mostly for Shannon's entertainment), but the thread felt disjointed, and that character limit was...limiting. So, blog post!

S1/E1: Bellamy's a selfish idiot, knew the goggles kid was a red shirt, wish Octavia had died first.

August Recap: New Apartment and New Job

It's been another long month. I've basically been working all month, except for moving days, and I didn't get a ton of reading done.

The move itself was a little . . . never ending, haha? I was kind of half-moved in but still working near the old place for a couple weeks. Long story short: I don't recommend piecemeal moving.

Strange though it is, this is actually my first time living completely alone (no family, roomies, dog) for an extended stretch of time. It's definitely an adjustment, but I'm getting there. And the dog/parents are close enough for weekend trips when I need my dog fix. Which works well since they need a dog sitter later this month. ;)

It probably says something that the first show I pulled up to watch upon moving was "North & South," where the southern country girl struggles to adapt to the more crowded, urban north, lol.

(actual picture of me trying to find the turn Google Maps says to take)
But we've moved past that initial "what have I done?" stage, and now I'm mainly watching silly, brainless stuff.
